Coworking Desks & Hot Desks, Booked by the Hour or Day
Looking for a coworking space without signing up to a monthly membership? CoHub lets you book a hot desk or shared desk directly from the business that has one spare — by the hour, the day, or however long you actually need it, with the price set by the host and confirmed before you show up.
Got a spare desk instead of needing one? List it here → — the first 50 hosts pay 0% fee on their first booking.
Looking for a coworking space near you?
CoHub’s desk listings are searchable by suburb and state, so “near me” means exactly that — you filter to your area and see what’s actually available there, not a generic directory. Every listing shows the real suburb, the price per hour or day, and whether it’s currently approved and bookable. If nothing’s live in your area yet, that’s the honest state of an early marketplace — and it’s also the fastest way to become the first coworking listing in your suburb.
What’s the difference between a hot desk and a private office?
A hot desk is shared, open-plan space you book alongside other people working around you — it’s the cheaper, more casual option. A private office space is a closed room booked just for you or your team, at a higher price per hour or day.
| Hot desk (this page) | Private office | |
|---|---|---|
| Space | Shared, open-plan | Closed room, just you/your team |
| Best for | Solo work, calls, laptop time | Meetings, focus work, small teams |
| Typical booking | By the hour or day | By the hour, day, or longer |
| Where to book | /desks | /offices |
Can I book by the hour, or only by the day?
Both — each host sets their own hourly and/or daily price and a minimum booking length, shown on the listing itself before you request it. Your card is authorized when you send the request and only actually charged once the host confirms.
What if I need to cancel?
You get a free 48-hour cancellation window with a full refund, including the platform fee — so booking a desk for next week doesn’t lock you in today.
Want to list a spare desk instead of booking one?
If you’ve got unused desk space, CoHub takes a flat 15% fee from your payout only — guests always pay exactly what you list. The first 50 hosts pay 0% on their first booking.
