Coworking inside a shopping centre
Working from Westfield Chermside has its perks: lunch, coffee and errands are a short walk from your desk. WOTSO Chermside's rooms on CoHub cover most group sizes, from the Donut Room for 6 and the Toucan Room for 10, to the Anchor Room and Sparrow Room for 16 each, and the Amphitheatre for up to 30. Two 16-person rooms make it a good fit when you need breakout space beside a main session. Rooms have AV equipment, and WOTSO can arrange catering on request. The day pass covers an open-plan desk for the day, and WOTSO lists stocked kitchens, private phone booths and a business printing station among the site's amenities. Memberships and offices are handled by WOTSO directly.
Buses, parking and hours
There's no train station at Chermside, so most people come by bus or car. The Chermside Shopping Centre bus interchange is minutes from WOTSO. If you drive, WOTSO's site says Westfield gives customers 2 hours' free parking, or 4 hours with the Westfield+ app, and WOTSO members can park for $5 a day through Westfield. Reception is staffed Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm; visitors sign in there, and after-hours access needs WOTSO's approval first.
